I'm Leo Vincent, a 23-year-old French composer cruelty living in New York City.
Since i'm around 14, I compose. Back then I was in a band called The Red Ladies, and I would play the few songs I had with my guys. But little by little I started to compose songs which wouldn't go well with the spirit of that band, thus I started to collect them. Ten years latter, I still compose and play some of them. I have so many now... my computer certainly contains over 300 ideas... Some of them came into life and appear in the soundtracks of the documentaries I've worked for, or in some art projects, but not all.
This album is about giving a place for my songs to exist. Even though I've grown, and some of them do not completely represent who I've become, I love them. They are like pictures of a younger me, which is no longer me, but within which I recognize myself. This album is also a necessary tool to get a label to consider me as an artist. This project is therefore crucial for my carrier. It is a step I can't avoid if I want to make a living out of doing music.
