WeAreCo is a tool to enjoy living together. It is a sign you can wear and display, which means two things: that you are willing and able to provide some basic services in your daily environment.
We can all think of some moments when we wished there was someone around who could give a hand. Remember when you were struggling in the heat of the summer with your luggage in this new city? Or when you were simply looking for something around?
Our phones can't always tell us where the closest ATM or Starbucks is. Not to mention the broad direction to "the city center", or "the cool area".
Now, by spotting someone wearing the WeAreCo sign, you know this person is a priori willing to help you. They might not want to give you a 100$ note, but they can take one minute of their time to provide you with the comfort of knowing someone is here for you.
Daily life is full of very small interactions with people we don't personally know, even though we share much with them. Imagine what it could be to live in a city where you feel you have the possibility to rely on those you don't know yet.
WeAreCo is an experiment: use it as you can and as you want. Once the campaign is successful, you will be able to tell your stories on a dedicated website and why you think trust is important for you on a daily basis.
