Bonjour mes amis, je viens faire un point avec vous, pour vous.  Alors, à ce jour, après moins de deux semaines de collecte, nous sommes à 95% de la somme demandée, espérée. C'est formidable, je ne m'y attendais pas et je vous remercie de tout coeur. Vous avez donné, encouragé, partagé, demandé, parlé, quel élan de solidarité et d'amitié, vraiment! En fait, par pudeur, et aussi parce qu'on me l'avait conseillé, j'avais demandé moins que ce dont j'ai véritablement besoin. Donc, n'hésitez pas, continuez à donner si vous pouvez, si vous voulez, à parler autour de vous du film, à partager l'info sur les réseaux sociaux et par mail. S'il y a plus que demandé, la somme obtenue servira à mieux payer mes caméraman (celui du Cameroun et celui d'Israël) qui ont été très peu payés, à acheter des archives (qui sont très chères) pour le film, éventuellement à rajouter une semaine de montage.   En tout cas merci, merci du fond du coeur, à très bientôt avec  j'espère un beau film.   Quoi qu'il arrive je vais faire le montage et la post-production en juillet août à Paris, et j'espère pouvoir montrer le film, faire une projection, en septembre à Paris, et ensuite à Dakar.   Amitiés, Laurence Gavron     Hello dear friends, here's where the project stands. At this day, after less than two weeks, we have already collected 95% of the sum we asked for. It is great, , I didn't expect it to be so fast et I thank you all for giving, sharing, talking about the film project. It's a great proof of friendship and solidarity.   Actually, out of a certain shyness and also because I was advised to, I asked for a smaller sum than really needed. If one doesn't get the whole asked sum, one loses everything, but if there's more, it's ok. In case we do get more, all the money will of course be used for the film. I still have to pay my cameramen what they really deserve (the one in Cameroon and the one in Israël, in Chicago I'll do my own camera). I can also pay the editor better and maybe longer, we might need an extra week of editing. Last but not least, with more money I can buy some archives (photographs, footage).   Anyway, I do thank all of you and those who have given, shared, etc. from the bottom of my heart.   And whatever happens I will be editing the film july and august in Paris, and I hope I can show it soon, probably in september, first in Pars then Dakar.   Thanks to all of you,    All the best,   Laurence Gavron
