Toutes ces découvertes ressemblent à un coup de foudre. Je suis tombée amoureuse de la Langue des Signes, grâce au travail que j’ai du entreprendre pour jouer dans le film de Jean-Pierre Améris <i>Marie Heurtin</i> le rôle de s<font face="Times New Roman, serif">&oelig;</font>ur Marguerite.</font></font></p> <p align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm">  </p> <p align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm"> <font color="#000000"><font size="2" style="font-size: 11pt">J’ai été autant choquée que stupéfaite de découvrir à quel point j’ignorais l’histoire et toutes les réalités des personnes sourdes de notre pays. Stupéfaite de mon peu de connaissance, de mon manque de curiosité. J’ai été bouleversée de la violence qu’il a fallu subir pour simplement pouvoir vivre et s’exprimer dans cette si belle langue qu’est la Langue des Signes.</font></font></p> <p align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm">  </p> <p align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm"> <font color="#000000"><font size="2" style="font-size: 11pt">Le combat n’est d’ailleurs pas fini puisque si peu d’écoles, de classes sont aujourd'hui encore données en Langue des Signes. Cette langue est d’une beauté inouïe, elle est dense, elle est riche et d’une justesse saisissante grâce aux images et à l’émotion qu’elle transmet. Elle offre une grande liberté, elle permet de s’exprimer comme on peut le faire à travers une discipline artistique. Elle est plus vivante que ne l’est aucune autre langue.</font></font></p> <p align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm">  </p> <p align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm"> <font color="#000000"><font size="2" style="font-size: 11pt">Lorsque vous êtes entendant et que vous allez rencontrer une personne sourde, la première chose qui vous vient à l’esprit c’est l’appréhension, l’idée que la communication sera peut-être compliquée. Ceci explique sans doute la distance qui subsiste encore entre le monde des sourds et des entendants.</font></font></p> <p align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm">  </p> <p align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm"> <font size="2" style="font-size: 11pt"><font color="#000000">Quand on s’aperçoit que cette peur, cet </font><font color="#000000"><i>a priori</i></font><font color="#000000"> étaient absurdes et que même sans connaître la Langue des Signes, il est tout à fait naturel et évident d’échanger ensemble, quand vous vous apercevez de votre propre fermeture en risquant de passer à côté de cet échange, alors vous comprenez la nécessité absolue d’outils comme </font><font color="#000000"><i>Art’Pi !</i></font><font color="#000000"> et de tout ce qui pourra faire en sorte que cette culture sourde se diffuse et continue de nous enrichir. J’espère que des initiatives comme celle d’</font><font color="#000000"><i>Art’Pi !</i></font><font color="#000000"> seront toujours soutenues et encouragée car nous avons le plus grand besoin de vivre ensemble nos cultures, et pour cela d'initiatives qui durent et se multiplient.
