It's been more than fifteen years since I traveled the world to make documentary films for the main French TV channels.

Today I want to make a film to help a North American NGO: The Border Angels.Their action is made more and more difficult and they urgently need a film that tells from inside what they do!

You have all heard of the wall that separates the United States from Mexico. It is a 800 miles wall that was built about thirty years ago, to prevent migrants from entering the United States.

The action of this NGO, the Border Angels is extremely simple: regularly they drop bottles of water in the desert so that these migrants can survive.

For successful migrants, the Border Angels help them obtain their papers and settle on North American soil.

I met the founder of this NGO, Enrique Morones, a dozen years ago, during a shooting of a documentary. Obama had just been elected, and the American Hispanic community and the Border Angels were hopeful about their future.

But since Trump's election things have really changed: Enrique sends me regular warnings about what Pro-Trumps or anti-immigrants are doing to Border Angels.

Enrique himself has been threatened with death several times, there are armed patrols going into the desert to burst the bottles of water, there is really a hateful atmosphere.

Before the existence of this wall there were about 1 to 2 migrants per month who died of dehydration today there are 1 to 2 per day.

Enrique contacted me, he absolutely needs a movie. From a movie that will tell from inside all the actions of the Border Angels. That's why I need you, I need to raise 10,000 euros. 12,000 USD to make a film that will allow Border Angels to communicate about their actions. Together I am sure we can do it.
