SYNOPSIS

Outside, the war.

They are in a dark room. A young woman and a little boy. There is a hole on one of the walls. Through that, you can see the sea.

A dialogue, an exchange, a journey, that will bring them to the other side. To accept that they are already dead.

WHY THIS MOVIE ?

My name is Susann Carmen Jagodzińska and BRZEG is my first movie. BRZEG is about the recognition of our own death, the search for our own inner truth, and the ability of letting go in order to move forward… and in the same time to go back were we came from.

Its an instinctive creation…my interpretation of the human being.

I wrote BRZEG in a really short amount of time. With two breathes. Writing down everything I always believed in. Writing down thoughts that I wanted to share. Pictures that I see in my head… noises that I listen along to with them. Its atmosphere and its perception.

I have been writing scenarios and got good return from jurys of contests…

The problem is that my writing is very “surrealistic, dreamy, pure, cruel with calm’’ and at the same time “difficult’’ to imagine how I wanted to put it in picture.

Therefore I got the advice to try to make a self produced short film which I am doing now with BRZEG.

I found people who believe in this project and felt inspired by my script.

Not only this made me very happy but also gave me strength to fight for the project.

The shooting will be in Poland in March 2019. My team will work voluntarily on my first self produced movie. But travel fees and money for food are something I would like to guarantee as a minimum to them in return. Now, my movie that is so close to see the light of day needs your help in order to complete the financing of the shooting.
