Manchuria Kung Fu, a traditional Chinese martial art, arrived in the Loire (France) more than 10 years ago and has never stopped developing in St-Etienne. Under the impetus of Master Mathieu Derosière, a school (a place dedicated solely to learning our martial art) was inaugurated in April 2017. It is a success with more than 95 members at the beginning of the 2018-2019 season. This school is the second of its kind in France and is the first run by two women: Cécile Martinez and Emilie Morvant.

Our wish today is to continue on this path to offer students a quality training in a place that meets our expectations with more than 100 to 150m2 of practicable area, quality equipment, an area dedicated to weight training, changing rooms, as well as an area dedicated to Chinese medicine.

In order to carry out our project, we will move within a few months (still in Saint-Etienne) to a much larger space than the current school. This involves the purchase of carpets (for the traffic area), equipment and fittings. The funding will allow us to finance the start-up of this new school under the best conditions.

We are counting on you to participate in the realization of this project, one of the biggest dreams of the two instructors.

Who are Cecile and Emilie?

Attracted since their early childhood to martial arts, Cécile Martinez and Emilie Morvant discovered Manchuria Kung Fu (MKF) in 2007 and 2013 respectively. They quickly expressed the wish to share in their turn this martial art and to invest themselves in the development of the MKF. Through hard work and motivation, they became instructors of this martial art by training with the representative of the discipline, Master Mathieu Derosière. They strive to transmit with heart and respect the teaching they receive from their Master.

More than a passion, Cécile and Emilie dedicate their free time voluntarily to sharing their knowledge with their students and to the development of the Manchuria Kung Fu School in Saint-Etienne.

Today, Cécile (top) is the main instructor of the Saint-Etienne School and is a black belt 2nd Dan of Manchuria Kung Fu. Emilie (below), also an instructor, is a 1st Dan black belt.
