Start the day with a cup of coffee!

We source our coffee beans from the best French and European roasters; your coffee will be prepared by our passionate barista. Take a sit, relax and enjoy your cappuccino and its latte art or your aromatic filter coffee, in a friendly and warm atmosphere. If you are in a hurry, you can order your drink to go!

Not just coffee!

We seek to tantalize your taste buds with our freshly baked cakes and pastries to go along with your coffee, your tea or your freshly squeezed orange juice. We also have a variety of delectable dishes prepared for lunch.

If you are hungover on weekends, we will make you feel better with our healthy and varied brunch menu.

We are keen on working with local producers as much as possible to provide the best quality products throughout the seasons, in an environment-friendly approach. Our menu will change weekly according to our mood, offering tarts, salads (or buddha bowl), sandwiches and soups ;)

A friendly place half way between your office and your home :

Dune will be a warm and friendly place where you'll be happy to meet up with your friends, taste our delicious recipes, relax while listening to vinyl records or reading comics, which will be available in the coffee shop. Here is an overview of the place :

MEET THE TEAM!

Clémence, a foodie, passionate about travels and new flavours, eager to prepare yummy dishes that she discovered while traveling around Scandinavia, South America or South Africa.

Clément is a hedonist enjoying every moment. He first enjoyed baking along with his Grandmother, making puff pastry. Clément is looking forward to baking sumptuous cakes and sharing their individual stories with you.

Matthieu is a mischievous young man fond of terroir and quality products. He can’t wait to prepare his beloved coffee beans especially for you all of which have been cultivated and roasted by expert hands.

These 3 lovers of fine food initially studied together before going their separate ways,working in different industries and countries. It was in the US where Clément fell in love with speciality coffee, and warm and welcoming coffee shops. Soon, the idea of opening his own place in his hometown was brewing in his mind! Matthieu and Clémence, who were just waiting for that special call from Clément, thereafter shortly came on board.

We strive to source only local and quality-oriented products (for example full-fat milk from the Ferme des peupliers, a small farm 20 km away from Rouen) while being as environmentally-focused as possible.

WHAT'S UP AT THE MOMENT?

Our premises are located right in Rouen's historic centre. It is now a clothing store so there is a lot of work to do to change it! The loan was accepted from the bank and we hope to open the coffee shop in February 2018 (fingers crossed)!
