We want to follow in the footsteps of Alan Lomax. Unknown to the general public, we owe him the discovery of worldwide hits such as: The house of the rising sun by Bob Dylan and Trouble so Hard, sampled by Moby.

This road movie follows the band Moonsters: A young Parisian psychedelic rock band who set out to conquer the United States, but also follow their dreams. They have the crazy dream of walking in the footsteps of Alan Lomax, their pianist Nicolas is one of his admirers, and live a human adventure that will make them grow humanly and artistically exploring Route 66, a mythical symbol of absolute freedom .

They will discover this country, its people, different musical influences but mostly, they rediscover themselves. This movie is set out as a road movie on a "U.S tour bus." will follow the adventures of the band. Their journey begins in Chicago and ends in San Francisco. During their journey, they will discover new artists and musical genres. This group is heavily influenced by American music.
