Join HEC Seed, the Major Seed-stage Startups Event, by HEC Paris Students

HEC Seed is the major student-run event dedicated to Seed-stage startups in France. The event will encompass the following:

- 2 startup competitions (Concept and Scale-up),

- speakers and panels including Fashion & Tech and Social Entrepreneurship.

The event will take place on April 5th, 2018.

In 2018, HEC Seed dares to innovate by creating a crowdfunding campaign to raise the prize, all of which will be attributed to the startups winning the pitch competitions! The prize money will come on top of other prize already secured, among which are tickets for VIVATECH!

Our vision is to connect and empowers young entrepreneurs and students by connecting them with investors and corporates of the European entrepreneurial scene, employing a dynamic mix of inspiring competitive pitches and networking opportunities.

Last year's event, the 2017's edition:

- 550 participants,

- 39 startups,

- 60% survival rates after 1 year,

- 600 k euros seed series enabled!

It is the first time that HEC seed starts a crowdfunding campaign to make the prize of the startup competitions. The campaign is a unique opportunity to directly help the winning startups. Our target is to give a prize of 5,000 euros. If the campaign amount is exceeded, the extra funds will either form an extra pitch competition prize, or will help secure a great venue at Station F to give even more visibility to startups!
