Starts fundrising for San Martino alle Fonti

The historic fountain will soon be restored. A task made possible thanks to the contributions of many donors and association Eta Beta Onlus

CASTELFIORENTINO - This historic fountain will soon comlpetly restored thanks to the donors that now and in the coming weeks will give their valuable financial contribution, and Eta Beta Onlus association that supports the project.

It is a reward based fundraising (namely that each contributor will receive a reward on a fixed date and this will be commensurate with their generosity, ranging from denominations of 1, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 60 , 100 € up to even higher sums for which you will still receive rewards decidedly original, funny, helpful, sometimes unique. To donate will be easy and you can do it online on our crowdfunding platform using a simple credit card. Those without a card can still contribute -even direttamente- giving the account of the association by bank bancario.Per each donation you will receive a regular receipt.

The fundrising will last only 60 days, the goal is to reach at least 9,000 Euros to the first batch of restauro. The fountain is a public property and is located on one of the three ancient Francigena route. In the past, the restoration was interrupted because of the cost of materials needed, a problem that can be overcome through this fundraising. Many people would like to see finally the restoration of the fountain and more are the art lovers which soon will see the fruits of their generosity.

The construction of the fountain of San Martino to sources dates back to 1817; certainly it is one of the most interesting cultural heritage of Castelfiorentino and of the Elsa. The territory also has many other fountains and architecture of the road, some of which have already been restored in the past by Eta Beta Onlus through the effective tool of #CampagnediSalvaguardia

The fountain is known by everyone and is visible in the stretch of road that connects Castelfiorentino and Certaldo, and the intersection with the new road to Volterra. In July, the fountain was also the scene of some nocturnal visits that have enabled many dozens of people to directly see the preciousness of the structure and the work already done in the restoration, as well as learn about some recent archaeological discoveries that shed new documentary light on its history.

Eta Beta Onlus is an APS association recorded and operating in Italy since 2001 that deals with cultural and environmental heritage.
