A propos du réalisateur :  Si je devais me définir en quelques lignes ce serait les suivantes. J'ai toujours eu à coeur de raconter des histoires à ceux qui m'entourent, une envie finalement égoïste car je prends simplement un plaisir fou à voir les réactions sur leurs visages. Je ne vis que pour ça, pour ce que le cinéma me donne depuis si longtemps maintenant et que j'aimerais tant lui rendre. A lui et à ceux qui m'ont toujours poussé dans cette direction.   Je m’appelle Jessy Langlois, je suis réalisateur, monteur (depuis 15 ans maintenant), graphiste 2D et 3D et passionné. I have always loved to tell stories to those around me, a selfish envy because I always take a great pleasure to see the reactions on their faces. I live for that, for what cinema gives me for so long now, I would love to give him back. To him and to those who have always pushed me in that direction.   My name is Jessy Langlois, I am director, movie editor (for 15 years now), 2D and 3D graphic designer and passionate. Un mot du réalisateur : En février 2014, j'ai eu une idée un petit peu folle, une envie. Je me suis lancé le défi irréalisable de raconter une seule et même histoire, celle des péripéties d’un couple, mais tout autour du monde. Un sacré challenge me direz vous, surtout lorsque l’on connait les difficultés rencontrées pour réunir des fonds pour tourner un court métrage. Et puis je me suis dit, écrit l’histoire et on verra bien.  J'ai eu bien des difficultés à la traduire par des mots mais en septembre de la même année, j'ai apposé le point final. Le point final de cette histoire qui commence à Paris et qui se termine à Paris, mais qui va passer par bien des pays. Une folie me disais je, car je ne me suis pas donné de limite, en me disant là encore, qu’on verrait bien. D’ailleurs, comme tout cela paraissait bien trop facile à mon gout (je rigole évidemment), je me suis dit que priver quasiment intégralement cette histoire de dialogue serait intéressant. Et puis je l’ai traduite en Anglais cette histoire, pour qu’elle soit lisible par le plus grand nombre, et j’ai commencé à la faire lire. Et là, j’ai compris qu’elle touchait, les réactions des comédiens aux quatre coins du monde ont été (et sont toujours) incroyables. Cette histoire touche, c’est indéniable. Alors je me suis dit, oui, c’est de la folie, mais allons y. Lançons nous, que l’on trouve ou pas les financements, je veux la raconter cette histoire, je partirai seul et sans un sous s’il le faut.  D'aussi loin que je m'en souvienne, j'ai toujours eu à coeur de raconter des histoires qui traitaient des causes à effets. Le fameux effet papillon qui me passionne depuis toujours. De ce petit détail insignifiant qui change le cour des choses. « Love is everywhere » c’est évidemment l’histoire de Virginie mais c’est aussi celle de Sebastien, d’Eliana et Gabryel à Rio, d’Abygail et Jackson à New York, de Jiaio et Heng à Hong Kong, de Naaz et Tamal à New Delhi, de Ilhaam et Wadji à Dubai, de Noa et Eitan à Tel Aviv et enfin de Jérôme. Tous ces personnages sont liés dans une seule et unique histoire. "Love is everywhere », c’est une histoire d'amour à tous les niveaux. Une aventure qui est dors et déjà une très belle réussite par l’engouement qu’elle suscite. J’en suis le premier étonné. Je pourrais vous la faire lire cette aventure, mais je préfère vous la montrer. Et je ne me reposerai que quand ce sera fait.   A word from the director : In February 2014, I had an idea a little bit crazy, a desire. I started the impossible challenge of telling a single story, the adventures of a couple, but all around the world. A big challenge for sure, especially when we know the difficulties in raising funds to shoot a short film. And then I thought, wrote the story and we'll see. I had many difficulties to put this story into words but in September of the same year, I finished it. The end point of this story that begins in Paris and ends in Paris, but it will pass by many countries. Madness, I told myself, because I do not give myself limits, saying again, we would see. Moreover, as it all seemed too easy for my taste (I'm kidding, of course), I told myself, un story almost without dialogs would be interesting. And then I translated in English this story to be read by the greatest number. And then I realized she touched, the reactions of actors around the world have been (and still are) amazing. This story touch feelings,  it’s undeniable. So I said, yes, it's crazy, but possible. With or without funding, I want to tell this story, I will go alone and without money if necessary, but i will shoot it. As far as I can remember, I have always wanted to tell stories that dealt with cause and effect. The famous butterfly effect has always fascinated me. This little insignificant detail that changes everything. "Love is everywhere" is obviously the history of Virginia but also that of Sebastien, Eliana and Gabryel in Rio, of Abygail and Jackson in New York, of Jiaio and Heng in Hong Kong, of Naaz and Tamal in New Delhi, of Ilhaam and Wadji in Dubai, of Noa and Eitan in Tel Aviv and finally of Jerome. All these characters are linked into a single story. "Love is everywhere" is a love story at all levels. An adventure that is already a great success by the enthusiasm it generates. I am the first surprised. I could let you read this adventure, but I prefer to show you. And I will rest when it will be done.     Image : Nous allons tourner avec du matériel très léger, un Mark III et une Black magic, une petite grue transportable facilement et un steadycam. Ce matériel est parfait pour la mobilité et pour revenir avec de sublimes images (cf le lien du pilote de série ci dessous, réalisé avec le même matériel). Un traitement image étalonnage sera fait en postproduction. Les références visuelles sont en images ci dessous. This material is perfect for the mobility and very cool images (follow the pilot link below, made with the same material). Calibration image processing will be done in post-production. The visual references are in pictures below. High contrast and color will be the dominant key words of this shooting.     Son : Un grand soin sera pris sur le travail du son qui sera très particulier sur ce film puisqu’il est quasiment muet. Un gros travail d’ambiance et de musique est dors et déjà entamé.   Sound : Great care will be taken on the work of sounds. It will be very particular for this film because there is very few dialogs in it.
