I have just returned from mixing Malamor's album in Prague, Chech Republic. The experience was intense and extremely interesting - and so was the 1500 km drive from Ljubljana to Prague and back!</p>

I had no idea of what it takes to mix an album and now I can appreciate the talent, experience, and sheer hard work of a top sound engineer - thank you Milan Cimfe!!! Blaz Celarec, Malamor's excellent drummer, was with me in Prague and his fine-tuned ear and experience as a mixer were quite a revelation. I feel humbled by the knowledge and creativity I witnessed in those two days and am very satisfied that I now have a better idea of this side of music production.</p>

Sono studios have an analogic mixing console that is unique in Europe - which means that you can mix music the way it was done before the digital revolution and the music sounds like vinyl records! We wanted this retro sound for our album because it adds warmth, creativity, and imperfection to the mix!</p>

As already mentioned, the mixing process is extremely intense and we were exhausted at the end of two of 14 hour sessions with Milan. This is what we looked like at the end! -</p>
