ICI Venice keeps empowering and giving more value to emergent artists with the extension of the showing period of the exhibition "Bhutan, journey beyond the sky" .

At the same time as the Venice Biennale 2015 and the Milano world's fair 2015, two young artists are invited to step into spaces of ICI - Magazzino del Caffè: Marco Casella and Daniele Pulze.

Only one constraint is given to them: integrating their artistic pieces to the existing ethnographic items on show from "Bhutan, journey beyond the sky".

Unlike the contemporary art pieces we are used to meet in the galleries, within white cubes, inside dedicated museums nor classical museums and public housing, Marco and Daniele art installations deal with inconspicuousness. It is all about fitting to the existing scenography and exhibited pieces and merging up into questioning the visitor. These installations will there launch a unique aesthetic dialogue between the ethnographic art, the contemporary art, dragging the visitor in that new journey.

Following "Shamanism" housed in the architect collective ORPROJECT structure in 2014, ICI Venice offers a new experience combining ethnographic art and contemporary art.

THE ARTISTS

MARCO CASELLA (1991)

"Space is a vacuum to define with its limits, like of self-limited landscape to organize space versus time" is the kind of theme that nourishes the poetry of Marco Casella borned in 1991. Within the exhibition "Bhuthan, journey beyond the sky" he will mix match old photo slide from Anne and Ludovic Segarra with art photo slides of its own. Through the same medium, the visitor will be faced to a double point of view: from one hand one specific moment in the mythical story of the Himalayas development and on the other hand the art creation of visible space-time turned into immaterial by Marco Casella: Space versus landscape and time versus pause.

DANIELE PULZE (1988)

Daniele Pulze, borned in 1988, turns any space he is given into awesome installations of his own creation with a strong visual effect results of his space and scientific researches. The artist will step into the entrance room of ICI - Magazzino del Caffè so called "la BOUTIQUE Onirique" and into the cocoon like screening room. His specific interventions directly to the site will distort the visitor optical perception.
