Who is MESS DREY ?

A rising soul artist, MESS DREY is a singer-songwriter of Haitian origin who imposes her very own musical style, "open-soul", a seamless blend of funk, blues, rock, gospel and jazz. Spotted by a number of programmers since 2015, she has appeared in many jazz and contemporary music festivals (Argelliers Jazz' Estival, Les Nuits Couleurs Festival, Après les Vendanges Festival...) and opened for world renowned artists (The Excitements, FM Laeti, Adrien Byron Burns...). With her haunting soul voice, contagious melodies, breathless energy, and fine collection of musicians and backing vocalists, MESS DREY stamps her mark with an explosive live performance.

And the album?

This is Mess Drey's first album. It will feature about 10 songs. The instrumentals and vocals were recorded this autumn (November 2017). Keyboard arrangements (Hammond organ, Rhodes, synthesizers...) will shortly be added to add a sublime finishing touch (it's like cooking, every ingredient counts!).
