I live for ten years in the Czech Republic, my partner is Czech and our daughter is Franco-Czech. Over the years we have visited several various Czech mountains on the German Slovak Austrian or Polish borders.

I was able to admire the beauty of these mountains but also the traditions that persist, the evolution in progress and sometimes even a great modernity manifested by luxury hotels, very modern ski resorts and state-of-the-art leisure facilities.

An idea came to me.

Being a photographer for a long time I decided to realize a photographic project to testify, through these photography, to the maintenance of traditions, the evolution and the modernity within the different mountains and Czech valleys. The current period represents a very interesting point of equilibrium between these three components in a country located in the center of Europe.

My photographic approach goes through the poetic filter of my visions, my photos are not intended to be a documentary report but more an artistic exploration of these mountains.

By supporting my project, you will participate in the photographic and artistic testimony of a time a culture and a landscape. In addition you will help me to realize a photographic series which I dream for some time and that I wish to expose in a café or a gallery in Prague, in addition to being displayed on my Internet site.
