NiceCollection the authentic reconstruction of French uniform pieces

My name is Cathy ROSSET and I make pieces of French military uniforms since 2008 for collectors, re-enactors, costume designers and sometimes museums. First focused on the production of parts of French soldier's uniforms from the World War I, I work with different materials such as cotton, leather, wood, metal and of course wool. Thanks to a renowned European manufacturer, I have already reproduced original colors from samples such as a bluish iron gray wool and a another one more intense horizon blue. Some uniform pieces below: helmet cover, puttees, collar tabs and ranks on the uniforms of the 171st RI reconstitution group. During the World War II, the khaki wool replaced the horizon blue one. Four shades predominated: brown khaki, green khaki, mustard khaki and khaki called France 40. My choice of reproduction is now on the khaki wool from the time of "The Phony War" (September 1939 - May 1940) .
