1% of the population at the service of well-being

In 2050 we will be 10 billion on the planet. For everyone to find inner peace and live happily, we have estimated that 1% of the population will be needed to support this transition. 100 million agents of change, including educators, caregivers, health and wellness professionals, business leaders and government officials.
With our project, we want to bring together all these actors of change, provide them with tools and resources to facilitate their mission and optimize their positive impact.

The origins of Noös

What does Noös mean in fact?

Noös is a term from Greek philosophy used 2,500 years ago by Aristotle to define the ability to differentiate between what is experienced and what is felt.

Later Noös' translation was associated with "common sense" or "consciousness", the source of understanding of individuals.

In 1973, on his return from a trip to the Moon, astronaut Edgar Mitchell founded the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) which still conducts research today on subjects such as spontaneous remission, meditation, consciousness, alternative healing practices, spirituality, and human potential.

Our story is therefore that of all the people who have planted these seeds of transformation for at least 3,000 years, these visionaries of a world where everyone could live in inner peace, experience happiness in harmony with the magnificent ecosystem. and so fragile in which we operate.

Our founder Antoine was inspired by the Noös story by listing "Discovering a Meaning in Your Life" from famous psychiatrist Viktor Frankl who describes Noö-Dynamiq as inner balance.

Our team

Today our team is made up of 4 co-founders: Antoine Sepulcher, Emilie de Morteuil, Antoine Denis and Nicolas Beguin. We are fortunate to be supported by the team and coaches of New Ways of Caring from UCLouvain with whom we are in contact almost daily, as well as by our two wonderful interns Fauve and Charlotte.

Antoine started to think about this project 5 years ago, feeling the desire to share his transformative experience and to allow easier access to a greater number of all the tools that have facilitated his personal development. As he continued his personal work, he also refined his vision and developed an expertise in this area which also allowed him to find the meaning of his life.

"After specializing in the organization of experiences related to personal development, I discovered a passion for human and the path of awakening. My work on myself allowed me to experience a transformation so powerful that I finally learned to make peace with my sufferings after twenty years of not understanding what moved them. Through my encounters, my experiences and my readings I discovered that we each build our version of the reality on the basis of our interpretations of external events, too often nourished by the traumatic experiences of our early childhood and that if we do not manage to get rid of these mechanisms we continue to advance in a mode of survival that is not ours not favorable in the end.

Deeply inspired by my personal experience, I wanted to put myself at the service to support other people in similar situations. I like to think that if I have found that inner peace, then everyone can.

Noös is truly the extension of my personal development work, but above all that of all the inspiring people who have dedicated their lives for thousands of years to build the foundations of a New Earth and. It is also the project of the hundreds of millions of other people who are awakening all over the planet today, and I hope that our tools can help to finally see the birth of a world where everyone can live in peace and in harmony with others and the planet. "

Emilie has been a follower of complementary and alternative medicine since her earliest childhood. She has always been amazed by their potential. She takes great pleasure in discovering new practices and understanding their complementarities, so she decided to study Nutrition and Aromatherapy for my personal use.

Passionate about the environment, she also trained in this field and published a book "The guide to sustainable consumption: how to take care of yourself and the planet" in order to share her discoveries. For several years she has been advising the Colruyt Group on their health and sustainable development strategy.

His motivation is to understand the biggest challenges of our society and above all, how to overcome them. "I am now convinced that a transition to a more sustainable society will first have to go through an internal transition." When she crossed paths with Antoine in a yoga retreat, Noös immediately presented herself as obvious and she joined the project as a co-founder.

Antoine Denis is a developer and has participated in the development and maintenance of the Ardennes-stage platform for 10 years. Optimist by nature, Antoine practices meditation and sport in order to maintain a healthy balance in his life and he was won over by the societal impact of the project as well as the technological challenges.

Nicolas is passionate about innovation and new technologies. He immediately bought into the idea of the Noös project. Father of two young boys, he dreams of being able to put technology at the service of societal commitment.

Take care of yourself and the planet

At Noös, we sincerely share the belief that the pollution of the planet is only the reflection of a global internal psychic pollution.

We believe that well-being cannot be achieved if it is not shared. One part of humanity cannot live well if the other is unhappy or if it does so at the expense of future generations, bequeathing to its own children and grandchildren an uncertain world with depleted resources.

A global psychic crisis

Today, while the WHO estimates that half of the world's population suffers from psychological distress, we have decided to orient our first action towards supporting all the health and well-being professionals who have done the job. choice to serve the well-being of others. We wish to offer all therapists, practitioners, shrinks and other professionals the tools and resources to optimize the positive impact of their mission.

The raison d'être of Noös is to provide concrete solutions to support all people in their path of awakening and find their meaning in life in order to find inner peace and to be able to build the new earth together.

We have identified that the average time taken to take care of mental health-related situations and problems is estimated at 10 years, which is far too long. Moreover, already before the pandemic, the WHO estimated that serious mental problems reduce life expectancy by 10 to 25 years.

Our first objective today is therefore to reduce the period between the first symptoms of a mental health problem and the moment a person is connecting with a health or wellness professional. Our ambition is to reduce the time taken to take care of the patient to less than 6 months, i.e. 20 times faster by 2030.

Mission

Our mission is to help, support and inspire all people in their personal development. This process, which is an experience specific to each individual, allows us to learn to free ourselves from our sufferings in order to reach a state of inner peace which allows us to experience happiness.

A foundation at the service of people

Faced with the gravity of the psycho-social situation linked to the pandemic, we have taken the decision to make the platform accessible free of charge for all patients as well as for practitioners. We want to make the tools that can help people in psychological distress accessible to as many people as possible. In order to optimize our impact we are in the process of transferring the project to a foundation of public interest.

This foundation is also yours, and today we are calling on you to help us realize this dream which is so important to us to be able to help as many people as possible who still live in too much psychic suffering.

To finance our needs we appeal for donations from people who believe in our vision and in the need for everyone to have access to the tools and solutions to live a happier life.

We are also launching training workshops with members of our community. These events led by our practitioners will first take place online and will address important topics such as femininity, nutrition, emotional agility, breathing, sexuality. Through this action we hope to be able to create an alternative source of income for the many practitioners who have suffered for over a year from all the health measures often preventing them from receiving their patients.

In addition, the foundation will mandate the commercial company of which it is a shareholder for the technical and commercial development of the version for companies of the platform. We hope to eventually be able to generate a source of funding on this side too in order to be able to continue to provide you with our services for free, and even possibly fund other non-profit actions, such as access to alternative care for disadvantaged people or the emotional education of children.
