Launching Plumes' fourth album

(Description en français ci-dessous) I’ve recorded my seventh full-length album as a singer/songwriter (my fourth under the name Plumes) with the generous support of a Canada Council for the Arts grant and in collaboration with talented musicians and sound engineers in France and Canada. I'm now seeking support in launching the album with experts in image and marketing. Here is the list of artists who have contributed their amazing talents to the album: Leslie Seaforth aka More or Les: beat-maker, producer and rapper Aurore Cuvelier: violist Jennifer Thiessen: violist Manu Peskine: pianist Aurélien Naffrichoux: guitarist and bassist Stan Grimbert: drummer Jean-Charles Versari: recording engineer Ludovic Palabaud: mixing engineer Alex Finkin: mastering engineer The album consists of 10 songs with instruments ranging from guitars, piano, choir, strings, electronics and drums. It’s an emotional expression of my experience since arriving in France in 2014. As many of you know, it has not been an easy decade for me personally and let’s not even start about globally… It’s the darkest album I’ve made so far, though there is a sense of adventure and resilience throughout, and at times it's quite danceable. It was a breath of fresh air to collaborate on 5 songs with Torontonian beat-maker, producer and rapper More or Les, on which he contributed beats and collaborated on arrangements. I’m looking forward to working with a marketing/publicity team that I feel understand and appreciate my music and whose expertise will help bring my music to new ears. C'est une expression émotionnelle de mon expérience depuis mon arrivée en France en 2014. Comme beaucoup d'entre vous le savent, cela n'a pas été une décennie facile pour moi personnellement et ne parlons même pas des événements mondiaux… C'est l'album le plus sombre que j'ai fait jusqu'à présent, même s'il Il y a un sentiment d'aventure et de résilience tout au long et ce fut une bouffée d'air frais de collaborer sur 5 chansons avec le beat-maker, producteur et rappeur torontois More or Les. C'est aussi un album assez dansant ! J'ai hâte de travailler avec une équipe marketing/publicité qui, selon moi, comprend et apprécie ma musique et dont l'expertise aidera à faire connaître ma musique à de nouvelles oreilles.
