The Polaroid Festival is an event dedicated to promoting instant photography, celebrating these special cameras that both freeze time and make small pieces of the world surrounding us self-develop on paper right before our very eyes. The Polaroid Festival aims at discovering or re-discovering this unique art by testifying to the diversity of techniques and styles that make it.

The festival's program, curated by a group of passionate photographers, offers a variety of events including exhibitions, workshops, events and meetings throughout the festival. The team behind the project is composed of enthusiasts and major players in the world of instant photography: Clément Grosjean / Raul Diaz / Emmanuel Françoise and Marion Lanciaux. On board with them, local key players such as: Joaquin de Prada, Santi Pladellorens Janer and Ciara Cabodevila.

After running several successful editions in Paris - the last exhibition was held in 2018 at Espace Beaurepaire – the Polaroid Festival team are back, this time in a gallery of 2000 square feet of space close to La Rambla in the sunny heart of Barcelona, Spain.

When?

The Polaroid Festival will take place in September 2019.
