<p>Dernière <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4KQ9XhfNdI" target="_blank"><strong>vidéo</strong></a> de présentation. Cette fois-ci, c'est le leader <strong>Ralph Lavital</strong> qui parle de <strong>BWA</strong>, le disque qu'il signe conjointement avec son complices depuis de nombreuses années, le pianiste <strong>Laurent Coq</strong>. Fils d'un guitariste guadeloupéen, ancien marchant de disques à Paris, et d'une mère martiniquaise, Ralph est né à Paris, et a grandi dans les tours du XIIIème arrondissement. Il commence à jouer du piano à l'age de 3 ans, avant de passer à la guitare quatre ans après. Il étudie dix ans au conservatoire du XIIIème arrondissement, puis la musicologie à la Sorbonne et la musique au conservatoire d'Ivry où<strong> Eric Schultz </strong>l'oriente vers l'EDIM. C'est là qu'il fait la rencontre de Laurent Coq, son prof de composition. BWA est son deuxième disque en leader, après <strong><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4KQ9XhfNdI" target="_blank"><em>Carnaval</em></a></strong> sorti l'an dernier, et dont Laurent Coq a assuré la direction artistique.</p>

Il s'illustre par un jeu précis et souple, ancré dans les traditions caribéennes et ouvert au monde, qui n'étouffe jamais la musique mais au contraire l'élève.
