Solidarité Internationale Madagascar 2017, campus Arts et Métiers de Bordeaux

<p>  </p> <p> <strong>Solidarité Internationale Madagascar</strong> is a student's association of apprentice engineers from Arts &amp; Métiers - Bordeaux.</p> <p>  </p> <p> Each year, the SIM team provide a technical solution to a village's problem.</p> <p> There were many answers : well building, installation of an electric system, arrangement of solar panels, etc.</p> <p> Since its creation, SIM has learnt how to establish a strong cultural exchange between the Madagascan children and those of a French school.</p> <p> As apprentice engineers, we wish to share our technical knowledge in order to improve the population's everyday life but also to involve ourselves in a topic that is a cause close to our heart : our planet.</p> <p>  </p> <p> But exactly, who are we  ?</p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="L1004531c1m-1480104426" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/372198/L1004531c1m-1480104426.jpg"></p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Solidarité Internationale Madagascar</strong> began in 2011. It was developed by apprentice engineers of <strong>Arts &amp; Métiers de Bordeaux</strong> and <strong>C.F.A.I Aquitaine</strong>. Since the beginning, SIM has contributed to the Madagascan village's development  in the region of Menabe in the southwest of The Red Island.</p> <p>  </p> <p> This year, like SIM 2016, in October - November 2017 we are going to set up our project in Ankotrofotsy. Indeed, <strong>deforestation</strong> is an important subject of our society and even more on the Red Island.</p> <p> Madagascar is covered with <strong>20% of forest (13 million hectares)</strong>. But <strong>36,000 hectares are destroyed</strong> each year, causing soil erosion and loss of biodiversity : <strong>75% of plant species have disappeared</strong>.</p> <p> In this case, the poverty of people, who most often illegally cleared plots of forest for cultivation as well as <strong>the production of coal for cooking.</strong></p> <p> We want to change this by offering a technical solution!</p> <p>  </p> <p>  </p> <p> <img alt="12cuiseursolairepatates-1480423896" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/373052/12CuiseurSolairePatates-1480423896.jpg"></p> <p> <em>Item may differ from the photograph.</em></p> <p>  </p> <p> Some details about the technical solution :</p> <p>  </p> <p> The technical supervisor has worked on <strong>the study and </strong><strong>conception of a solar cooker</strong>.The plans were drawn by the precedent promotion of apprentice engineers.</p> <p>  </p> <p> Then, with these plans, we will go to Madagascar and will build <strong>three solar cookers </strong>for three villages. Ten projects were selected by a jury and we were chosen !.</p> <p>  </p> <p> We start the fund-raising with the help of 1000€ from Arts &amp; Métiers.</p> <p>  </p> <p> Moreover, three prizes at stake :</p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Prize « Jackpot »</strong> : campaign with the biggest fund-raising on KissKissBankBank within the scope of CrAMfunding.  </p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Prize « General Public »</strong> : campaign with the biggest numbe of sponsors on KissKissBankBank within the scope of CrAMfunding.  </p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>Prize « Great Patron » </strong>: campaign with the highest donation on KissKissBankBank within the scope of CrAMfunding</p> <p>  </p> <p> The collected fund-raising will be deposited on the account of "Fonds de Développement Industrie du futur". We will send the bills linked to the project and this account will pay them.</p> <p>  </p> <p> The " Fonds de Développement de l'industrie du futur« , created in October 2015, is assigned with the mission of favoring actions and tasks of Arts et Métiers, supporting its students and the application of the setting up of the  project.  </p> <p> <strong>Moreover, </strong>thanks to the fund-raising, the donation gives the right to a <strong>tax rebate </strong>on income of 66 % of its sum . It's limited to 20 % of taxable income. In this way, a donation of 100€ will come to 34€ for his sponsor, the tax rebate is 66 €. Persons subject to ISF can allocate 75% from effected donation up to a limit of 50 000 € per year. </p> <p>  </p> <p> <strong>To summarise, </strong>sponsors, taxable in France, are able to receive a fiscal deduction for donations superior or equal to 5 euros and it's necessary to make a request to this mail : infoprojetmadagascar@gmail.com</p> <p>  </p> <p> With their help, we want to make people react on the use of their coal furnaces.
