Julie Rigault, Arnaud Dardennes and Guillaume Fregosi are three volunteers staying at the association CESHE (more information about this NGO at the end of the description). After spending several months at the school and in the small village, we were able to highlight several urgent needs for the school and for the local population. We want to raise some funds through a crowdfunding campaign to bring two major projects to realize before the end of our mission.

Project 1: A shelter for Nith and Neath

Nith and Neath are two sisters aged 12 and 8 years old. Nith is one of the best student at the school and her younger sister Neath, still young, is very promising. Nith is resourceful and enthusiast about computer science (we offer computer/IT courses, thanks to laptop donations). However, these two little girls are in need. At that time, their home does not have walls. As the monsoon season arrives, it is urgent that they and their family can protect themselves from the rain and the wind.

Project 2: Teaching books

Although the school hosts very committed volunteers, resources are not sufficient to provide quality education on the long term. That is why we need to invest in a collection of teaching books adapted to each level to ensure continuity in the pedagogical approach.

Thanks to your donations, we will be able to buy the following books:

Project 3: New white boards

The current whiteboards are worn out. We have 5 classrooms, two of which are unusable because of the paintings. That's why, with the extra money, we can make up new boards. Rady, the founding school director, is also a seasoned handyman who will transform 25 euros of raw materials into a quality board.

Some information about CESHEO (Cambodia English School of Higher Education)

Cambodia does not provide free public school and many Cambodian children cannot afford to attend. Many of these students are eager to learn the skills improve their future. In 2010, organization founder Rady Rure began teaching English classes in his house to some of these students. As more students joined, a formal classroom was built to accommodate the growing attendance. With this, the NGO started and began registered in Cambodia (NGO-968).
