<p>Do you love getting the low down in English on the best things to do in Toulouse from Haute Life magazine? Perhaps you have never heard of Haute Life but you wish you had access to an English language source of information on life in Toulouse? Here at HL HQ, we love packing our triannual publication full of news, restaurants, family fun, travel and events so that you can make the most out of living in la ville rose.</p>

<h2><strong>Why do we need your help?</strong></h2>
<p>However, in a world of digital media and smartphones print media is finding it hard to retain its space in the market. It’s been a pleasure to bring our readers all this fantastic content for free for the last few years but as we move into a digital age, we’re looking for your support to aid the continuation of our beloved magazine.</p>
<p>You may be surprised to know that it costs €1,200 just to distribute the magazine, and this is on top of printing and production costs. In order to continue bringing you fantastic features, wonderful photography and fascinating articles we’re asking anyone who has ever enjoyed reading Haute Life, or anyone who would love to read a copy in the future, to support our crowdfunding campaign. Whether you have just €1 or €100 to donate we would be grateful for any support towards our target of €1,200. As with any Kiss Kiss Bank Bank campaign, if we don’t hit our target we receive nothing so please help us to get there.</p>

<h2><strong>What you can expect from the next edition.</strong></h2>
<p>We are hard at work on the next edition where we’ll be exploring the vibrant destination of San Sebastian, giving you tips on how to make the most of the Pyrenees and catching up with some of Toulouse’s most talented folk, from film-makers to beekeepers. Being an expat can be isolating and a daunting experience, leaving your family and friends at home to live in a foreign country where everything is different. We started Haute Life to offer a lifeline to those finding their feet in Toulouse and to help unite the international community in their love of this great city. By opening doors of opportunity and inspiring you to live your best life, we whisper in the ears of our readers 'you are not alone'.</p>

<h2><strong>Who are the Haute Life Team? </strong></h2>
<p>For the last three years Haute Life has been by a dedicated team of just three individuals: Anette Wilder, Shira Wilkins and Danielle Davidson. With a passion for life in Toulouse and a thirst for communicating it to the expat community they started up the magazine. The last 6 months has seen the addition of Cat Rochefort (née Banks) as Editor and a partnership with France Edition Multimedia.</p>

Here I am shopping at one of Toulouse's fantastic marché aux puces. I love living in Toulouse and sharing it all with you in our triannual magazine and via our Social Media sites. My favourite place is Toulouse is Marché Victor Hugo - a feast for all the senses and a wonderfully french atmosphere. "</p>

<p>We remain passionate about Haute Life magazine and we hope you do as well, so please dig deep and help us keep bringing you a little slice of Toulouse life.</p>
<p>The money collected will go towards covering our distribution costs, which are €1,200. This is to cover the costs charged by an exterior company to distribute the magazine to hundreds of establishments over the city of Toulouse and the surrounding area. </p>
<p>If we are lucky enough to collect any extra money over the target will go towards covering the cost of printing the magazine which is a huge overhead in the production of the magazine. </p>
<p>The crowdfunding campaign will begin today the 2nd October and run for 30 days. The funds collected from this campaign will go to myself, Cat Rochefort née Banks, to be re-distributed to cover the distribution and printing costs. The magazine will go to print the 2nd week of November. </p>
