SWING FOR THE PLANET! For the good of Mother Earth and future generations

Swing For The Planet! is a good citizenship project whose mission is to inform the general public about environmental issues through music. The aim is not to be dogmatic but rather to evoke our awakening, and we want to spread the word as far and wide as we possibly can. As well as being a well-crafted, high quality musical project, Swing For The Planet! is educational, raising awareness and encouraging people to live in an eco-responsible manner and to take action. Swing For The Planet! is made up of ten tracks inspired by various musical styles so that each and everyone can find what he / she likes the most: pop, rock, electroswing, blues, funk, jazz. The melodies serve as the foundation for lyrics, written in phrasing, that have an eco-responsible message and dissect the challenges we face as a species, especially the future of our planet. It is serious and playful at the same time; a passionate and rhythmical awakening that speaks to lovers of Mother Earth. Climate change is a very complex subject and most people know very little about it; either they don't have the time to find out or they are preoccupied with other things. Others simply choose to remain in denial. Music is a universal medium that transcends cultural differences and borders. It’s a way to send a serious message by touching people's hearts, by stimulating their emotions, without taking anything away from the gravity of the words. Climate experts write articles or make films, others work with foundations or give lectures. We chose music. Swing For The Planet! has all the necessary ingredients to become a commercial success and this is our goal. The album will be recorded and produced in a professional studio, it will be promoted through social media and direct-marketing targeting journalists as well as influencers and climate change experts; hopefully they will help spread the word and generate traction fast. The environmental crisis is very real and the need for action is urgent. We have already begun to see the effects of climate change but the consequences are still modest today compared to what awaits us, our children, and our children’s children. The longer we wait, the worse the damage will be. Some of it may even be irreversible. This is nothing short of an emergency and those of us who can must act now, individually or collectively. It will require a wholesale change in our culture and our behavior. People throughout the world will need to embrace a new set of values and change their way of life. But this change will not come about unless and until we accept that each of us has a part to play. Revolutions, good and bad, have always been driven by the people and this is no different. Swing For The Planet! is certainly hard-hitting but it also carries a message of hope. If music can act as a catalyst for this collective awakening, then so much the better! Contributing to this cultural change is the main objective of the album, and also to make it a musical success thanks to its artistic qualities. For that we need funds. Everyone will win a reward regardless of the amount of his / her contribution; of course the higher the contribution, the more exclusive the reward.
