Tasto Solo rediscovers virtuoso and highly refined music from the late Medieval and early Renaissance periods. Directed by the organetto player Guillermo Pérez, the ensemble approaches Early Music with exquisite performances by combining historical research, creativity and the art to transmit emotions.

Tasto Solo’s discography includes two volumes from a triptych devoted to 15th century keyboard music: “Meyster ob allen Meystern” and “Le chant de leschiquier”. Both of these recordings received the celebrated “Diapason d’Or” as well as a large number of international press awards.

In 2017, the ensemble will present its new recording with music from the time of Henry VIII and keyboard works by pre-virginalists masters, including compositions by R. Cooper, H. Aston, T. Preston and King Henry himself: English songs from the beginning of the 16th century, instrumental consorts and magnificent early grounds.
