We’ve been on crowdfunding before. In February 2015 we successfully launched our first equipment, the Noocity Growbed, an efficient and modular self-watering urban gardening system. Easy to assemble and maintain, it allows you to plant a wide variety of fruit, vegetables and medicinal herbs anywhere.

During our extensive research to make the Noocity Growbed a truly practical and efficient equipment, we evaluated and tested a number of possible accessories to give you the option to set and complexify your "balcony's food system" according to what do you want to cultivate, with the space and time available and even according to the climate of your area.

One of the good ideas that emerged was to integrate a vermicomposter to the system, making the Noocity Growbed a self-watering and self-fertilizing urban gardening system. This accessory will transform your food scraps into sustainable organic fertilizer for your Noocity Growbed, creating the ideal environment for healthy and rapid plant growth.

A container placed in the center of the Noocity Growbed stores your food waste.

When you add earth worms, they will break it down and produce what is known as vermicomposter, a very high quality organic fertilizer and soil conditioner. The worms' digestive enzymes also add beneficial microbes to the mix help creating perfect soil for a healthy plant growth.
