The context I've been in love with photography for a long time. However the year 2021 was very special to me and photography became my guide through some quite hard time. 📷 I'm particularly fond of street photography and I live near Paris so I started taking street shots almost every day to keep track of my daily life. 📷 This book reflects how I spent the year following the rythm of my regular medical appointments. I chose a chronological approach because it's the best way to show how my mood and the images I produced have been evolving through time. 📷 Bien sûr, on y retrouve inlassablement les mêmes lieux, des lieux que je connais maintenant par coeur : mon quartier, la gare Saint-Lazare ou les alentours de l'église de la Sainte Trinité par exemple. Mais jamais les mêmes personnes, y compris moi-même car j'ai beaucoup changé en un an. Of course, you will spot the same places again and again, some places I'm now deeply familiar with: my neighborhood or Saint-Lazare station in Paris, for instance. But never the same people, including me as I changed a lot over the past year. 📷 The book All my photo prints are made in France using Canson paper produced in France. Working with local partners is key to me so I applied the same rule to this book. It will be printed in France near Lyon by Ooblik, on semi-gloss 135g paper made in France. The layout is almost finished. The 76 page book will feature around 80 of my pictures, all taken in 2021 and organized month by month.
Allocation of funds
This book is very important to me because it's a testimony to what happened in 2021 and how I went through this. I'm editing the book on my own but I need your help to finance a minimum number of prints including one that will be saved at the French National Library. Your participation will also finance the prints I would like to offer to 8 people that are very special to me.
