WEST IS THE BEST ?

West is the best it’s a destination every two years, a crave for the horizon, a way of living and working in connexion with the ocean. Genuine travel journal, in each country, WITB goes encounter a community of creative surfers in order to highlight their art and their lifestyle.

After having skimmed the Californian waves and encountered its community of creators, the studio Joran Briand retakes the coasts’ direction and heads to France!

WEST IS THE BEST #2 – FRANCE

It could not escape anyone’s attention; France is a very centralized country and Paris is unfortunately far from its costs… It seems very difficult for French creators to avoid Paris at some point of their life.

We went encounter twenty or so creators (plastic artists, photographers, dancers, designers, stylists…) in their city studios and on their favourite spots so that they could speak about their work, about the source of inspiration that represent the ocean and surfing and about how they managed to find their balance without marginalising themselves.
