Comment présenter et faire découvrir d'autres horizons et cultures sous un nouveau regard créatif, poétique et singulier du monde qui nous entoure?

L'idée est de réaliser à travers un voyage en Asie du sud-est (Thailande, Cambodge, Indonésie), un reportage photographique avec la créativité et l'originalité du Light-painting, amenant une autre vision et dimension de notre réalité!

Une invitation à découvrir la beauté du monde et la magie de cet art! Une manière de mettre en lumière, le clair comme l'obscure, révéler les merveilles de notre planète et sa fragilité afin de sensibiliser au respect de ce qui nous entoure.

Le départ du voyage est prévu le 24 novembre 2014 pour une durée de 3 mois.

Qu'est-ce que le Light-painting?

Le light-painting ou peinture de lumière est une technique de prise de vue photographique. Elle consiste à utiliser un temps d'exposition long dans un environnement sombre en y déplaçant une source de lumière ou en bougeant l'appareil photo. La photographie obtenue révèle alors toutes les traces lumineuses dues soit à l'exposition directe du capteur à la source lumineuse, soit aux objets éclairés.

L'intérêt du light-painting se trouve alors dans la qualité du jeu de lumière ainsi produit, utilisant le paysage ou un espace comme trame ou fond. La mise en pratique de cette technique requiert un appareil photo disposant d'un temps de pose d'au moins une seconde et de plusieurs minutes pour des scènes évoluées ainsi qu'un trépied et des outils lumineux de type lampe de poche, LED etc..

Il faut savoir qu'il n'y a aucune retouche photo ou montage pour réaliser ces oeuvres! Tout est tracé manuellement avec savoir-faire et technique.

Pourquoi un reportage en light-painting?

Ce voyage-reportage en lightpainting s'inscrit avant tout dans mon projet professionnel et artistique. Il me permettra de développer mes arts, mon savoir-faire et ma créativité, tout en travaillant sur différents thèmes et horizons qui me tiennent à cœur et que je souhaite retranscrire et présenter à travers une série de photographie dans le cadre d'une exposition.

Le Light-painting est devenue une façon pour moi de pousser les frontières de la photographie, en plus de la prise de vue, il y a une grande part de créativité, d'innovation et de maitrise du dessin!

Réaliser un tel reportage est une nouvelle manière de présenter un pays, une culture, des horizons, d'une façon plus artistique, originale et atypique afin d'innover et développer la photo de voyage en sortant du reportage traditionnel.! Une possibilité de retranscrire, narrer un moment ou redessiner une image d'un point de vue plus personnel et créatif.

Réaliser mes créations lumineuses est une opportunité de sortir dans la nature et d'explorer le monde et ses différents univers.

Oeuvrant la nuit, je m'installe dans des friches industrielles, bâtisses abandonnées, pleine campagne, forêt, des lieux sombres et magique, puissants et expressifs parfois chargé d'un passé encore présent exprimant une forte émotion et sensation que je révèle par mes créations ou sculptures lumineuses.

Dans ce reportage je compte mettre en lumière le clair comme l'obscure, c'est à dire aussi bien la beauté des différents pays (nature, temple et personne etc…) que les bidons villes, les problèmes écologiques ou sociaux afin de présenter les pays, ce qui s'y passe et ce qu'il y a!

Mon projet est aussi de photographier des personnes locales et acteurs dans mon voyage avec lesquelles je réaliserai des portraits en light-painting, une façon de présenter différents peuples, cultures et origines.

Qui suis-je?

Je m'appelle Walker Valentin aka Alias 2.0, originaire du nord pas de calais, je réside en Drôme à Pont-de-barret. J'ai actuellement 25 ans et toutes mes dents! Prêt à croquer la vie à chaque instant, je suis désireux de projets, de voyages et de rencontres, passionné d'art et adepte je pratique la photo light-painting, la peinture, le bodypainting et graffiti, je suis également deejay sous le nom de Dj Watt's up.

Fasciné par la nature et la beauté du monde, je suis curieux et aventureux!

Pourquoi l'Asie du sud-est ?

C'est une partie du monde que je ne connais pas et qui m'a depuis plusieurs années beaucoup intéressée!

Une culture, un état d'esprit que je souhaite découvrir. Il s'avère aussi qu'il y a une grande partie de mysticisme et de magie en particulier dans les temples et la nature qui je pense agrémentera mon travail de créativité lumineuse!

Ce projet mêlera à la fois l'art, le voyage et les rencontres. Je collaborerai avec des artistes peintres ou photographes locaux, afin de réaliser des projets artistiques avec eux, de croiser nos styles et nos cultures, mutualiser nos expériences et échanger nos techniques. Des rencontres artistiques sont prévues!

En partant là-bas j'inspirerai mon travail et agrémenterai mon style avec les motifs, couleurs et calligraphies asiatiques!

De plus je réaliserai des peintures murales (street art, graffiti) lors du voyage suivant le matériel que je trouverai sur place ainsi que du bodypainting!

Pourquoi un projet de financement kisskissbankbank?

En créant ce moyen de financement partiel, j'offre la possibilité aux personnes désireuses de soutenir mon projet, d'acheter par la même occasion des oeuvres diverses et variées que j'ai réalisé, suivant la somme de chacun apportée au projet!

Une façon "donnant-donnant" ou équitable de financer en partie ce reportage!

C'est une petite boutique et un moyen présenter mon projet à venir et mon travail déjà réalisé!

How to present and make discover other horizons and cultures under a new creative, poetic and singular look of the world which surrounds us?

The idea is to realize through a journey in South-East Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, Indonésia), a photo report with the creativity and the originality of light - painting, bringing another vision and dimensionof our reality! An invitation to discover the beauty of the world and the magic of this art! A way of bringing to light, the light as the dark, of revealing the marvels of our planet and its fragility to make sensitive in the respect for what surrounds us. The departure of the journey will be planned at the end of November for a duration of 3 months.

Light-painting what is it?

The light - painting or the paint(painting) of light is a technique of photographic shooting. She(it) consists in using a long time(weather) of exhibition(exposure) in a dark environment by moving a light source there or by moving the camera. The obtained photography reveals then all the due bright tracks either in the direct exhibition(exposure) of the sensor in the light source, or in the lit(enlightened) objects. The interest of the light - painting is then in the quality of the lighting effect so produced(play of light so produced), using the landscape or a space as a weft or a bottom. The application of this technique requires a camera having an exposure time of at least one second and several minutes for scenes(stages) evolved as well as a tripod and bright tools of type swigs.

Why a report light-painting? This journey-report lightpainting joins above all in my professional and artistic project. He will allow me to develop my arts, my know-how and my creativity while working on various subjects and horizons which hold me heart and which I wish to retranscribe and to present through a series of photo-report within the framework of an exhibition(exposure). Light-painting became a way for me to push the borders of the photography, besides the recording, there is a big part of creativity, innovation and mastery of the drawing! Realize such a report and a new way of presenting a country, a culture, horizons, in a more artistic, original and atypical way to innovate and develop the photo of journey by going out of the traditional report.! A possibility of retranscribing, of telling one moment and drawing an image of a more personal and creative point of view.

To realize my brilliant creations is an opportunity to take out in the nature and to investigate the world and its various universes. Working at night, I settle down in industrial fallow lands, abandoned buildings, full campaign, forest, dark places and magic, powerful and meaning sometimes loaded(charged) with still present past expressing a strong emotion and a sensation which I reveal by my creations or brilliant sculptures. In this report I plan to put in light the light as the dark, that is as well the beauty of the various countries (nature, temple and person etc.) that tins cities, the problems ecological or social to present countries, what takes place and what there what there is!

My project also is to photograph local persons and actors of my journey with whom I shall realize portraits light-painting, a way of presenting various peoples, cultures and previous history. Why Southeast Asia? It is the continent which I do not know and which(who) interested a lot me for several years! A culture, a state of mind which I wish to discover. He(it) turns out as well as there is a big part(party) of mysticism and magic in particular in temples and nature which I think will decorate my work of brilliant creation!

This project will mix(involve) at the same moment the art, the journey and the meetings. I shall collaborate with artists painters or local photographers, to realize artistic projects with them, cross our styles and our cultures, mutualize our experiences(experiments) and exchange our techniques. Artistic meetings are foreseen! By leaving over there I shall inspire my work and shall decorate my style with the motives, the colours and Asian calligraphy! Furthermore I shall realize murals (street art, graffiti) during the journey following the material which I shall find spot as well as of the bodypainting!
