Bonjour à tous, Je me rends compte que cela fait bien longtemps que l'on ne vous a pas tenu au courant de la trajectoire du film. Il a continuer sa course avec une projection à Traces de Vies à Clermont-Ferrand, à Montpellier plusieurs fois, Villeneuve de Rouergue, Barcelone, et j'en passe... Nous avons touché des publics très différents, protestants et musulmans, lycéens et étudiants, personnes engagées ou à engager... En vrai ou par skype, nous avons animé des débats et échanger des idées et de belles énergies. Bref, on lâche rien !   <div dir="LTR" id="yiv2456339045yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1494835025697_37728"> Et j'en profite pour partager une autre bonne nouvelle. Une petite asso dynamique d'aide aux réfugiés vient de caler une projection de films, dont "Le choix des autres" ce mercredi à 19h30 dans le 2ème arrt. à Paris. Pierre-Julien et moi, serons là pour parler de la situation des réfugiés, du film et partager notre amour pour cette famille que nous avons suivi pendant trois ans. </div> <div dir="LTR" id="yiv2456339045yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1494835025697_37700"> La salle de projo est grande donc si vous voulez partager cet évènement avec vos proches, n'hésitez pas. Hi everybody, The Ateliers Varan screening last Saturday went very well. The place was full and the atmosphere very intense : I think the audience was gone in Zaatari, closed by Leila and Selim. <div class="_5pbx userContent" data-ft="{"tn":"K"}" id="js_6z" style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.38; overflow: hidden; color: rgb(20, 24, 35); font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"> After the Q&A, a Syrian came to me saying: "Selim and Leila are so right and sincere" and then adding : "It's the first time in a film, that I see my people depict with humanity."     Some Kisskissbankers were there, other couldn't but we do everything to make this happen again. </div> I take this opportunity to tell you how much your support since the beginning, gives us a fantastic energy. With the Agence Cantarane, that join us on the boat, we work a lot in order to screen the film as much as possible. WIth a lot of thoughts, Séverine, Pierre-Julien and the team "Hostages to Misfortune".

After months of hard work, we are very pleased to anounced you the birth of our film "Hostages to Misfortune" (Le Choix des Autres", in French).   A huge thanks to the entire mad team who gave so much to the film : Vincent, editing, Pierre, sound editing, Stéphanie, color correction, Ninon, graphic design, Hugues and Kinan, music, Nicolas and Lisa for the Production and to all those who made of this film by their commitment, their profesionalism and smiles, an exceptionnal human adventure.   And one thousand thanks to YOU, the big Kisskiss tribe, who've made this project possible.   The film is now going to live its life in festivals. Bonjour à toutes et tous, Nous y sommes presque, alors soyons fous... Si nous dépassons l'objectif, voilà ce que nous aimerions faire : un dernier tournage assorti d'une aide à la famille de Selim et Leila. Les mois se sont écoulés depuis notre dernier tournage et leur situation a évolué: Ils pensent vendre les containers dans lesquels ils habitaient depuis un an par manque de ressource. Le mariage de l'aîné est planifié. Leila veut sortir du camp à tout prix. Ils ont des choses à nous dire et à vous dire. Et si ce n'est pas possible, les fonds supplémentaires ne seront pas perdus: Grâce à eux, nous pourrons financer un étalonnage ou investir dans la distribution du film. Donc, merci encore pour votre soutien et merci de continuer à en parler autour de vous.

You are already 105 kissbankers to have put trust in our project. There are still 40th days leftl   We’re almost there. If you manage to mobilise around you and  if we raise more than we need, here’s what we’d like to do: one last shooting trip in Zaatari. In the months since our last visit, things have got worse for them. They may have to sell the container they’ve been living in for the past year. Their eldest son is getting married. And no matter what, Leila wants to leave Zaatari. There’s a lot they want to say. If going back doesn’t work out for us, we’ll use the surplus funds on post-production and/or distribution.
