La création de l'association Pamplemousse vient d'être publiée au JOAFE (journal officiel des associations et fondations d'entreprises), action qui nous permettra de poursiuvre dans la consolidation de nos objectifs d'éducation culturelle, création de partenariats, création et ventes de spectacles chorégraphiques et pluridisciplinaires, organisation d'évènenements culturels, échanges avec l'international, entre autres.</p>

Hello everybody !</p>

Just coming back from a one week residency in Paris, at the national center for dance <strong>CND Pantin</strong>: dance and music meeting for the fist time live with Victor Moïse and myself!</p>
<p>
</p>
<p>
This exciting process began with a lot of exploration, long sessions of improv around body, sound, image, texture, melody, combined sensations, loaded atmospheres, expansion and introspective states, emotion, the heavy and ingravid, the cyclical repetition, intensity of perception, suggestion and imagination, matter, joy, accumulation... progressively we developped timber, speed, layers and other details...</p>
<p>
At the end of the week we'd found a common language, and a beautiful and powerful soundtrack, which amazes me quite a lot: <em>from thin air</em> ! Next steps together will be from the distance Berlin-Montpellier: polishing and revisiting each material and the global sound.</p>
<p>
</p>
<p>
It was also a quite heavy and long trip with our scenographic and musical material, but we're fully compensated with the results of this exchange!</p>
<p>
</p>
<p>
A special and big <strong>thank you</strong> to my hosts and kissbankers Jud and Nico, who made my stay even better at their joyful home next to Buttes Chaumont!</p>

Nous avons eu notre première propostion d'achat du spectacle, qui sera joué à la MPT Georges Sand, avec une date encore à fixer entre novembre 2014 et janvier 2015. Cette première offre aidera à la diffusion de la pièce en construction dans le réseau des théâtres de la région, et ça nous donne un élan fort dans notre intention de proposer le spectacle aux festivals partout en France et aussi à l'étranger. Nous en sommes ravis !</p>

The implication of kissbankers in spreading the info of the project is still crucial, and new donations will allow several concrete actions that will contribute to the development of the piece, such as the creation of an original costume by Javiera, the assurance of the pay for the choreographer for her months of work and effort to build the project, and the hiring of a touring manager...</p>

Nous nous sommes rencontés avec Violeta lors de la création du projet “Resistere”, chorégraphié par Gilles Baron et mis en scène par Juliette Plumecocq-mech. Ce spectacle mélangeant circassiens, acteurs, danseurs, et musiciens, nous a permis de nous rencontrer artistiquement autour de mouvements et matières sonores, connectés autour de l'idée de la résistance sous toutes ses formes.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm">
Mon travail encore à l'état expérimental dans le projet, interviendra à différents moments du spectacle. Soit en soutient, soit en contrepoint de la danse. Il peut venir amplifier, porter, ou se mettre en résonnance avec la chorégraphie et les autres disciplines du spectacle. Alterant alors entre notre volonté d'accompagner ou de générer une impulsion nouvelle dans les mouvements de Violeta.</p>

<b>De quelle manière la présence de la danse module ton travail ?</b></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm">
La danse module mon travail notamment dans le sens de l'écoute et de l'interaction. Cette écoute peut être semblable lorsque j'échange avec des musiciens. Pourtant créer de la musique à partir du corps amène des possibilités nouvelles. Concrètement, cela peut se mettre en place grâce à la prise de son d'un corps en temps réel, ou par des capteurs de mouvements, pouvant générer ou moduler la musique.</p>

Intervient également l'idée du language et de la communication entre deux ou plusieurs artistes. Chercher des liens, avec une personne s'exprimant à travers un art différent, implique pour moi un language plus abstrait entre nous. Les deux personnes tentent de construire ensemble une forme de communication personnalisée, appuyé ou non par les mots, parfois imaginée uniquement pour un instant d'improvisation ou un spectacle. Ce language se met alors en construction tout au long de la rencontre, en réaction à une part d'inconnu, évoluant jusqu'à la fin de la création, et impliquant pour moi un rapport plus intense avec l'instinct et le ressenti.</p>

<strong>How did this collaboration begin?</strong></p>

<span lang="en-GB">Violeta and I met during the creation of Resistere, a piece created by Juliette Plumecocq-Mech and Gilles Baron. This show, which brought together acrobats, actors, dancers and musicians, fostered an artistic encounter around movement and sound, all bound together by the concept of resistance in all its forms</span>.</p>

<strong><span lang="en-GB">W</span>hat will be your contribution to the piece?</strong></p>
<p lang="en-GB" style="margin-bottom: 0cm">
My work, which is still at an experimental stage, will apper at different moments of the piece. At times, it will act as a support of the dance, and at others, it will be in counterpoint with the dance. My work may amplify, carry, or resonate with the choreography and the other disciplines. The musical composition will be fluctuating between accompanying and providing a new impetus for Violeta's movements.</p>

<strong>How does the presence of dance affect your work?</strong></p>
<p lang="en-GB" style="margin-bottom: 0cm">
Dance modifies my work particularly in relation to listening and interaction. This listening can be compared to that which occurs when I work with other musicians. However, creating music based on the body brings new possibilities. In concrete terms, this can be done by recording the sound of a body in real time, or by using movement sensors that can create or modify the music.</p>

Likewise, the question of language and communication between two or more artists also appears. In my view, finding a way to connect with someone expressing him or herself through a different medium requires the use of a more abstract language between us. These two individuals try to build together a customized communication, with or without words, and sometimes conceived only for a moment of improvisation or a single performance. This language builds up during the whole period of work, responding to unknown factors, evolving until the end of the creation, and requiring from me a stronger relation to instinct and feeling.</p>
