You may have heard the news: I'm coming out soon on a new album and it's called RITUALS.

This album closes a serie of some 3 eps and 2 free downloads, all released on the label I co-manage with my friend Marc, POLAAR, between 2015 and 2019.

Considered primarily as an audio-visual performance created with my friends Yannick, Pierre and Pym of the WSK collective, RITUAL (its first name) changed and took a considerable place in my artistic development: at the beginning it represented a new start for me, a new challenge and a desire to collaborate with a team of visual artists to develop music and graphic imprint in parallel, inspired by SF, mythology and symbols.

Over time, it has shapped into a personnal territory of expression where the objective is neither to stick to fashionable musical aesthetics, nor to "club music" writing codes but to be in the fusion between what primarily influenced me: a mix of experimental soundtracks, electronic music fuelled with sound system culture, psychedelic rock and techno/industrial atmospheres.

Here is a teaser of the first version of RITUAL, that we put online in 2015 (by Johann Prud'homme, in partnership with Projet Bizarre!)

So last May, I started locking myself in my studio and here is the result:

RITUALS. 12 songs with tribal, techno and bass accents. 12 ways to express my aspirations, my research, my accidents or anger.

Here is a first extract, Coded Language, where i reconnect with my drum'n bass background, full of tension.

The cover was designed by a young artist by the name of Dorian Rigal, who brilliantly manipulates 3D, in images or in animated videos (I recommend his work alongside Leon, under the name of Neon Minuit, but I will tell you will speak in more detail soon).

The layout is by my friend Richard d'Arte Diem, sober and elegant as usual.

The audio mastering is the work of Cédric Ifa, with whom I have worked since the early days of POLAAR. I can only recommend that you entrust your songs to his expert hands, Cédric is a master in the art of combining power and subtlety. Like this example below, The Way You, taken from RITUAL Part3, which came out last year ...

The release of RITUALS is therefore scheduled for April 7 in digital ... but ...
