In the summer of 2020, French YouTuber and comedian Bob Lennon (at the eponymous channel) hit a new high for crowdfunding in Europe. With 1.83 million euros reached, he is now the European record holder for the largest amount collected. 25,000 contributors have pre-ordered Bob Lennon's immersive book: "The Adventures of the Pyro-Barbarian (and Billy), The Black Cauldron Fortress".
🇫🇷 First wellness fundraiser and pre-sales record: a double for 900.care
This fall on KissKissBankBank, 900.care, refillable bathroom products, broke two French records. The brand carries out the largest pre-order campaign via a crowdfunding platform. In total, 900.care has pre-sold 63,248 refillable packs for the bathroom (deodorant, shower gel, toothpaste, etc.). It is also becoming the first well-being collection in France. 7,497 contributors have joined forces with it for more eco-responsible products 🌿

Funded in 2014 on KissKissBankBank, Demain, the film marked the spirits. Rewarded at the César in 2016, the documentary reinvents the world of tomorrow based on the best solutions of today. Supported by 10,266, Mélanie Laurent and Cyril Dion hold the record for the largest amount collected in France for the making of a documentary. They raised 444,390euros! 👏

With 270,295 euros collected, Zadig le mag is the independent press project which has aroused the most interest among the public in France. Launched by Eric Fottorino (founder of 1, America, etc.), 5,149 citizens contributed to the creation of the magazine. Zadig is an inspiring 196-page quarterly that tries to make readable a country that has become unreadable: France.
🇫🇷 🎻 Donate for Demos: the most supported educational project
The Philharmonie and its four "Donate for demos" campaigns have raised 1.29 million euros from thousands of contributors. Launched by the Philharmonie de Paris, Démos is a program that introduces young people aged 7 to 12 to classical music from neighborhoods covered by city policy or remote rural areas. The first French educational project in the amount raised, "Donnons pour démos" is above all a great victory for access to music education.
